How does Clever Noodle use the Science of Reading to develop games?

We rely on our expertise and our Literacy Panel to guide us as we develop our games. One of the criteria our advisors evaluate is how each game adheres to the Science of Reading.

What ages are appropriate for Clever Noodle games?

Our first two games are designed to be played by children within the age range of PreK through 2nd grade, with 3 levels of difficulty in each game. This enables children to grow with each game across these grades and for children at different levels to play together.

I’m a grandparent, foster parent, or other caregiver, does this game apply to me too?

Anyone that has influence over a child between PreK and 2nd grade may implement this game.

What’s the return policy?

We only accept returns of unopened products within 30 days of the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, the product must be in the original packaging, and unused.

If you’d like to return an unopened game, please email us at hello@clevernoodle.com with your order number in the subject line to begin the process. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to our warehouses. The initial shipping cost will not be refunded.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and issue you a cash refund or a store credit.

Please know that our goal is for you to get full value from our games. We are happy to set a time to talk with you about effective game play for the child/children you are working with.

You can always contact us for any return questions at hello@clevernoodle.com

What is the Science of Reading?

The Science of Reading is a body of evidence-based research on how children’s brains learn to read. Reading is a learned skill that must be taught. The five pillars of reading are phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary development, and comprehension.

How do these games help solve the reading crisis?

Our games offer a fun and effective solution to help children on their reading journey. The games teach essential reading skills, helping to ensure children achieve mastery.
